Goremarket Mid-Prices

The band was created by Stig and Kari somewhere around 2004 and their idea for music was pretty simple: creating something amusing (at least for them). But after some time of working, the project developed into GORESOERD, a vicious band, being one of the most extreme on the Estonian stage. In 2007, after singing a contract with Estonian Nailboard Records, the band released their first full-length album titled ‘Goremarket Mid-Prices’.

The music enclosed in this disc oscillates between the harsh sounds of brutal death metal, grind metal, slides through some black and heavy rhythms, and sometimes touches hardcore. Thanks to such pluralism of styles, the album becomes a metal pulp, therefore it is not an easy task, to listen to it diligently. The compositions are performed, mixed and mastered perfectly, there is nothing to pick on. The death metal sections are deadly, grind parts ferociously brutal, black - blasphemous, heavy - melodic, and hardcore - obscene. The great strength of this album is its variety, a composition which starts as a heavy metal, with simple and melodic riff, ends up as a grind and brutal death hybrid. The dose of progressiveness simply pulverizes.

GORESOERD can be compared to DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, but with such difference, that they are younger and less aggressive and chaotic. At the same time, they are more melodic, comprehend and coherent. There is power in this music. Genuine force.
