Must album

These guys at least have an original sound and attitude! Loits is certainly not a new name to our lovely readers; besides reviews you already had the posibility of checking them on the sampler CD with a song from their acclaimed „Vere Kutse Kohustab“. During their course they have mutated their pagan black metal towards a militant flak’n’roll sonority and this „Must album“ is the epitaph of this transformation! Flak’n’Roll is certainly not a common and understood labelling by all so here it goes...This third strike is the most rock’n’rollish of all three releases and is certainly softer, catchier, melancholic and the work with more gathered influences which in undoubtedly not a bad thing at all! You have the Satyricon alike rock’n’rollish riffs and vibe, some folkish influences, frightening almost orchestral atmospheres, dynamic song structures and Estonian exotic harsh vocals. Three years after their best selling album and intense playing not only in Estonia but also in Europe (including in 2006 at the SWR Barroselas Fest – Portugal) they refine even more their sonority toward a broader and vicious audience. I mean who can’t dance at the sound of groovier songs like „Ei kahetse midagi“ or „Peegli ees“ or the folkish tunes of „Surmarestoran“?! They have progressed but the addictive Black Metal influences are still there!! A Must album!
