Must Missa
Martyr Of Wrath

The life of a music journalist is hard [laughs]... albums laying around without really knowing what to expect, albums getting dust without having been listened even once anf good bands passing aside due to a huge pile of CDs to review... But there is always some that sticks in our stereos for a few extra listening’s! „Martyr Of Wrath“ is that type of album at least to me since I do love Thrash Metal and that’s exactly what the Estonian Must Missa truly are! A band influenced mostly by Celtic Frost but also by other great acts like Destruction or Slayer. The eight songs produced here wander between the mid to fast tempo pace and they flow easily like any good blackened Thrash Metal albums. For the ones who thought that their second album „The Target Of Hate“ was good think twice „Martyr Of Wrath“ is even better nevertheless they follow the same line (even the front covers look somehow connected). On their side they have fierce Thrashing riffs, the cool brotherhood kind of chorus like on the track „Blackened Thrasher Hordes“, a vocalist that has almost a 1985 German Destruction alike accent [laughs] and catchy song structures with the necessary addiction of more guitar leads in comprasion to their second album. With no doubts a very good Blackened Thrash Metal release, now raise your fists into the air and scream „Fanatic Possession“!
