When I saw this cd, I didn't know what to expect from such weird name, title and cover. When I heard it, it finaly appeared to be the only music that could have emerge from such a record : heavy doom metal with some stoner and sludge touches here and there. An album in the vein of the oldest BLACK SABBATH, with a very 70's mood, especially in the keyboards and guitar riffs. My favorite things in TAAK's music are the guitar leads, they have an incredibly cool feeling and give to each song a catchy personnality. The vocalist is quite strange, monotonous and borderline, but I think his way of singing and Estonian lyrics give a little "pagan" or "folk" sound to the whole, so that TAAK can only be considered as creative band that plays a unique blend of doomy heavy metal.
