The Lynch-Lawyers

With the release of the Ghostorm debut (technical Death Metal), Black Mark was the first bigger Western record label in the early 90s looking for new talents in the Baltic states. Now they were again successful in Estonia signing a collective that not only optically is comparable to the both macabre and cynical nature of Norwegian bands, like the late Emperor, Zyklon or Myrkskog. The band plays a very cold, technical kind of black metal with a use of keyboards that justifies a further comparison to the brothers Dimmu Borgir/Old Man´s Child with their little enchanting compositions. The topping on the ice is Hitchcockļs Psycho-inspired adoption in the end, featuring the catchiest motive on this strenuous album. What would have been possible with an orchestra of flesh and blood, here. Iļm gonna get me a Lynchbourg-lemonade, with a lot of Whiskey and ice.
