SpitBlood
Questionable Ethics

Coining themselves "brutal nu-metal", Estonia's Spitblood is all about guttural speed. Looking to Konkhra, Machine Head and Fear Factory for guidance, these youngsters deploy screaming, alternating with clean, vocals and a violent sonic attack. Melody does play an integral part in their battle plan, although the edges could be sharper, just as the mortar could be thicker. Designed to devastate yet falling slightly short, the exuberance required to detonate this bomb is sitting on the back burner. The impending explosion fails to resonate, as the necessary charge is ultimately too mechanical, needing space to breathe. The generic quality of it all stops the flow before it has a chance to start.
