Terast mis hangund me hinge 10218

I´ve heard so many stories about Metsatöll´s exellence during last couple of years that I was more than sure of what to expect of this album. "Terast Mis Hangund Me Hinge" (translated "Steel Frozen In Our Souls") was originally composed six years ago by this young Estonian metal band. Their epic and heroic metal honours the land´s history and their forefathers, and their music is a nice package of everything that has been heard in this kind of a metal music during it´s short history.

As some of you readers propably know, Finnish and Estonian languages are very close to each other and (at least) for a Finnish listener Estonian sounds a bit funny. Knowing that Metsatöll´s music is made with really serious touch and the lyrics are written with patience - still this music sounds really funny. But funny in a positive way! It brings you to a good mood and when listening while drinking some beer, the ultimate warrior feeling is stronger than ever. Metsatöll´s music is also very pompous and melodic, close to old school heavy metal with modern folk metal influences. The best example of band´s power is the song "Terasetuli", which sounds very excellent.

As far as I know, Metsatöll is one of Estonian´s most successful bands. Their native pride and loyalty to their ancestors is admirable and their music is passionate and good, so why don´t you just invest your moneys for Metsatöll´s music instead of some worn-out Norwegian folkish black metal wankers with nothing genuine in their works?
