Must Missa
The Target Of Hate

What a surprise ! In 2002, MUST MISSA released their first full-length album "Ma ei talu valgust" on the Spanish label Death to Mankind. At this time, the band was playing some common and almost uninteresting black metal, inspired by 90's bands from Norway... Now, 3 years later, a new label and a brand new line-up featuring Suss from MANATARK (drums) and Ank from THARAPHITA (guitars & vox), the Estonians deliver an excellent, fast and powerful thrash in the pure vein of the 80's. Each track is great and can remind of SLAYER, old METALLICA, DESTRUCTION and SODOM from a moment to another. Really, hearing something pleasing from MUST MISSA is one of the last thing I could have thought of... but here is "The target of hate", a kicking and headbanging thrash album without compromise. So, why haven't you given more than 4 points out of 6 ? should you say... well, the only reason for that is the missing of guitar-solos. Indeed, I wish I could listen to the same album with some leads here and there, but I won't complain and, really, this album rocks and is very refreshing. Congratulations dudes !
