The first confident step of Estonian all-stars metal-band.
NK debut demo doesn't feel groping or uncertain like the first steps of a child usually are. On the contrary - already known musicans in the local scene have their feet surely on the metal arena.
The most pleasant things to be heard on the misantrophic disc of sacrifices are the eventful melodies and technical maturity. The compositions and tempo vary quite often, from dreamy and not even deathmetal-like tunes (like Ignorabimus, in which several members of NK used to play before) to pure death metal battering. "No more monotony!" seems to be the slogan of the band. Thanks to experienced players there are none of the usual primitive or boring riffs on the CD.
Still there are some places which need some polishing. The lightning (or explosions, who knows) in the intro is very old and used up trick. The singer, sorry: the growler needs more practice to reach to the top of death-metal vocalists. And finally: this disc is damn short. You barely get the taste of it, when it's already over. This can be forgiven though - they're a new band and surely there will be more similar songs and discs of hatred in the future. "I hate everything!"
