Human Ground
Human Ground

Despite the fact that Human Ground is very new band, the music sounds quite fine and even professional. The band is even so new that it was established in 2004. The band has members toying the basic metal instruments: drums, bass, guitar and there are two vocalists (one guitarist/vocalist). Ok. After the basic info, let's move to the thing that matters: music.

The band has quite a straight forward way of playing music that requires some skull bashing while listening. Even though the music is strongly thrash it is much more. Death metal has clearly touched these guys (and chick) as well. Some parts of the musical pieces come to sound even a bit progressive in the slightly-Tool kind of way. The guitars offer you some strong sounds and some melodic hooks. The drumming is very strong and aggressive. The bass offer fine thrash kind of deep-sound-support for the music. Then there's the Love Song with clean female and male vocals in romantic social intercourse.

The vocals are more or less roaring... from a female singer as it seems to be. Then there are the clean male vocals there in between the songs. Shocking, is it not? If you need a few more screws to finish building the picture of the band: From whom the band members got their influence and more you can see from the band's official homepage.

I'm already expecting a second album from this band across the waters in south.
