Must Missa
The Target Of Hate

These three mean looking Baltic guys - they all have the studs n' nails look of Kerry King - play what they themselves call "thrash n' roll", or a mix between good old 80's thrash metal and black metal. First and foremost thrash metal, I would say, and singer Viking sounds almost like Tom Araya, and Slayer do come to mind several times when listening to this excellent product..! Needless to say; meant as an enormous compliment!

Looking at the track titles puts a smile on my face, and to my great relief the press letter stresses that there is much irony and black humour in it, 'cause some things here are a bit over the top, to put it that way. Cool! Anyway, on the pictures they sure look serious enough, not like anyone's top choice for a dark alley rendezvous, I reckon.

But all that aside; the bottom line is that this is one hell of an album! Both fast and groovy; this is the "Reign In Blood" of the Baltics, believe me! If the abovementioned references mean anything to you recordbuying guys out there, you're simply going to love this!! Fans of Norwegian up and coming threepiece Audiopain, that made several jaws drop at Hole In The Sky recently, will fall for this too!! This is Slayer meet Audiopain, and they are having a ball!
