When you look at the cover with torn body parts and barely readable logo, you'd expect some heavy hammering from the band. Wrong! Amazingly melodic, partly moshable and always in straight mid-tempo present these five men from Nihilistikrypt their debut demo. The Estonians must have pretty much hit the jackpot with their music, as they have already had the pleasure to support the black metal legend Rotting Christ. The promoletter affirms that their main goal with this demo release is to make their name known and get the attention of at least one label. The music has strong influence from guitarist and backvocalist Uziel, who is also known from not an insignificant band, the mighty Catafalc, though Nihilistikrypt is his main project. Nihilistikrypt should appeal to both melodic death metal fans and to hardened headbangers, so one should definitely listen to it.
