It’s not usual to receive music from Estonian bands, but I received this one some time ago. The band is called Loom and plays nothing less than (hard) rock with small other influences. Remarkable however is their vocalist Margus Sikk. He sounds like he’s a member of the “Lemmy” family. But that’s not the only thing that is cool. The music is damn good too. I don’t know the status of Loom in their country, but this really sounds promising. The opening song “24 hours” is a really cool song, which sets the standard for the rest of the album. Another cool song is “U-Turn” and this song can also be checked on the band’s website (www.loommusic.org). I only have some problems with the slow parts in Pictures, but besides that nothing less than thumbs up for Loom.
