Vari
Vihavald

Estonian symphonic Black Metal held together with drum programming that distracts you from the obvious strong points of the music. The arrangements are injected with high energy orchestration that drags the aggression out of the abrasive and into the more palatable levels of Black Metal. So much so that Vari, are teetering on the edge of what you could perceive as aggressive Gothic Metal likely to be found on a Napalm Records release.
There are many fine moments to savour from the 6 tracks on offer here, harsh vocals feeding from the frequent melodies of the songs. The piano makes more than a contributory appearance and adds to the more refined flavour this band are aiming to harness.

And actually we played a very real bass. Just that we only mentioned guitars (meaning guitar and bass) in our biography so thats where comes the misunderstanding.
