Loits
Ei Kahetse Midagi

This is my first listening experience involving Metal band from Estonia. Should I be surprised by the fact that they play melodic black Metal? No. Anyway, what we have here is crystal clearly (in BM terms) produced album, and, due to that fact - partly, guitar sound is rather "soft"/"light" for this style of music but it works well combined with early Satyricon inspired melodies. Keyboards are present as well. Obviously, compositions are based on elements of epic and "atmospheric" nature. Vox (although typical) and general singing style complements this characteristic as well and it`s interesting to hear that lyrics are written in their mother tongue. Although, you`ll get a sheet of lyrics translated into English, too. Those are rather abstract for me so I can`t get the meaning out of it but the bio mentions "straight forward incorrectness of the band" - concerning their views... just to let you know about it.
As for the music side of Loits, this is one of those bands which you can listen while it lasts but after session is finished, you won`t have much things to write home about.
