Must Rannik started rehearsals in 2007 after Triin and Indrek figured out that they want to do a band. They started to train thei're skills on bass and drums. Then joined Vello Piiskop and we made our first songs and our path was clear: we wanted to do pagan black metal (with a tip of viking/death metal) and shortly after Vello we decided that we need 2 guitarists and Vello got us Oskar Matvere. Right before our first gig in 2008 spring Vello left the band to pay full attention to his own project called Feedback.
In 2008 spring Ingmar Aasoja asked us to play on his birthday with Deceased Dreams and Wrath Is Evergreen in Rockclub Hades in Tallinn. And then it all got interesting. After that live concert Madis "Seldon" Kreevan joined the band as solo guitarist and he brought us the image (and atmosphere) we have today.
2009 autumn we released our first EP called "Kaitsev Kuma" (designed by Soden) and shortly after the EP release concert in Tallinn at Rockstars Triin announced in winter she is leaving the band and then joined Henri Mäll who made Must Rannik faster and technical.
We gave our first live show with Henri 2010 February.
